This is a fabulous large antique Victorian circa 1890 sterling silver Scottish agate brooch. The stones are all in good condition with no damage.

The stones are stunning with orange and mustard jaspers from the Campsie Fells in Stirlingshire, rare green and gold moss agates from Burn Anne in Ayrshire and classic green and red speckled bloodstones from the Isle of Rum.

The brooch has no hallmarks which is fairly normal for pieces from this period and has been fully tested and is sterling silver.

The brooch width is 4.8 cm ( just under two inches ) and the pin and C type clasp are in good working condition and original as is the loop on the back to fit a safety chain and pin if required.
