The Spyderco Cara Cara 2 Rescue Knife Spyder is another model of rescue folding knife from the Byrd knife series (Spyderco's product line). It combines high utility values, excellent quality of materials used and affordable price.

It has a serrated blade (which is a guarantee of great cutting properties). It is excellent at cutting through fibrous materials such as belts, ropes, clothing, etc. The head is made of 8Cr13MoV steel (the Japanese equivalent of AUS-8 steel), making the knife resistant to damage and dulling.

The blade is equipped with a distinctive teardrop-shaped opening that allows you to open the knife with one hand, using your thumb (both right and left hand). On the top and bottom of the blade at its base were placed special grooved planes, whose task is to increase the stability of the grip when operating the knife - they are perfectly profiled for the thumb and forefinger, have an anti-slip effect.

Back-Lock is used. The handle of the knife is made of FRN plastic (it is fiberglass reinforced nylon). The knife fits securely in the hand, allows you to operate with precision. At the end of the handle is a hole that allows you to hang the knife on a rope or on a lanyard.

The pocket knife has an interleaved clip, which allows you to fix it in four planes and clip it to a belt loop or the edge of a pocket.

Functional, ideal for extreme situations. The whole thing looks very aesthetically pleasing.
