A Silver "Executive" Honda Accord 2.0 i-VTEC Tourer, this car was purchassed by ourselves as a "stop-gap" to satisfy the then looming ULEZ fee issue imposed on us by Sadiq Khan.

We found and bought this Honda for the simple reason that as a brand they are known to be reliable and usually present few problems for the owner.

This could not be more true of this particular car. It is the so called "Executive" model, which is fitted out with just about the entire "extras" listing from the original brochure - and all of it actually still functions as originally intended!

Only one issue was detected and resolved in out ownership - the VTEC actuator stuck - but this was cured by removing it, cleaning it out, replacing it again, and performing a routine oil change. This is now running perfectly. We have also fitted two new front tyres.

The Auto gearbox is 5-speed, with very smooth changes (almost un-noticeable), a quick and responsive "kick-down", plus you can move the gear lever to a position where you can control the gearchanges manually - useful when you feel you need more "engine-braking", or to maintain accurate low speed for the latest imposed speed limits - the cruise control is also very useful for avoiding speeding tickets.

The car is spacious and comfortable, the SatNav maps up to the latest specification available, and the audio system is good. The luggage space is suitably cavernous with the seats down, and fixed roof rails are present when more space is needed.

We like this car, and true to the usual Honda reputation, it is a trouble free way of motoring.
