For sale is an Antique 1881 Waltham Grade Wm. Ellery 18S Open Face Coin Silver Key Wind Pocket Watch. This old watch is untested. I do not have a key to wind it up with. The info in this ad comes from checking the serial number of the movement online. The online info says this is a Waltham pocket watch, model 1881 Grade Wm. Ellery. I believe the size is 18S. It has a white dial featuring Roman numerals, The dial has 3 hairlines. 1 lower left between 7-8 and 2 up by the 12. It does have a second hand. It has an open face closure and also has a coin silver case. The case is marked DUEBER COIN and it's numbered, 345773.  Manufactured between 1880-1889 in the United States, it said this was made in 1881. the movement cover is also marked 345773.  The movement is marked, WALTHAM MASS.  -  WmELLERY - PAT. PINION - 1749486. This pocket watch is a true antique. It comes without original box/packaging or papers, but its authenticity can be verified by its brand and department. This auction is for the watch only. There is no key or papers. With a little work this should shine up nicely. I am hopeful it will run when wound up. So, take a look at the pictures.
