In reverse print in the bottom left corner of the front are the words, "London, -- Trafalgar Square"

The postcard was stamped with the three halfpence King George V stamp (Scott #212), and was canceled very lightly in London, England, in September 1936 (the day is illegible).

The caption on the message side reads: "Trafalgar Square / The Nelson Column, with statue of Lord Nelson, is 145 feet high, and was erected to commemorate his glorious death, October 22, 1805. The colossal lions at the base are by Sir Edwin Landseer. The National Gallery and the Church of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields are seen in our photograph."

Printed vertically along the left edge of the message side are the words: "C. F. Castle's "Lesco Series" 125, Murchison Road, Leyton, E.10. Essex / (Printed in England)"

Size: 5-1/2 x 3-7/16 ".

Bottom corners very lightly bumped. There is a paper tear on the right edge of the message side.
