These smaller ads tend to be ignored (I certainly did for many years!), but as many are for less well-known products than those promoted in the larger ads, they are more uncommon and often include great examples of contemporary graphic design!!

THESE ARE OLD PAPER ITEMS, THAT MAY HAVE BEEN TRIMMED AND/OR REPAIRED, AND HAVE SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS DUE TO THEIR AGE WHICH IS REFLECTED IN THEIR PRICE.  THEY ARE ORIGINAL PRINTS FROM PUBLISHED ITEMS OF THE DATE SHOWN BUT THEY ARE NOT THE ILLUSTRATOR'S ORIGINAL ARTWORK!!   SOURCED AS THEY ARE, FROM MAGAZINES, THEY WILL USUALLY HAVE PRINTING ON THE REVERSE.

**** This advert was one of several salvaged from a HUGE collection of old magazines rescued from an attic & a damp garage, where they had languished for many years! As such, some are not in pristine condition, possibly a little grubby &/or with foxing, creases, rust stains and/or holes from the staples. However, because of the great artwork used in ads from this period, they are still of great interest, and their condition is reflected in the price of these scarce items!! ****
