For auction is my Countax C600H lawn mower/tractor complete with sweeper/roller and grass collection box.

Fitted with the reliable Briggs and Stratton 16hp vanguard engine, it starts easily and runs well with a steady tick over. It comes complete with the sweeper and grass collection box all in working order.

The machine is in solid condition with all the controls and associated circuits functioning correctly (ie. Deck height adjustment, cutter on/off and grass box raise/lower). The hours meter shows 557 and I believe this to be correct although I cannot be sure since it was a second hand purchase a few years ago. The tyres are in reasonable condition. The seats pvc is damaged on the right hand side as can be seen in the photos but is functional.

The bodywork is generally good with no major damage. There is the usual flaking paint and superficial rust to the cutter deck , sweeper unit and grass box but nothing serious.

The battery is good and holds its charge well and the air filter and oil were changed last summer.

I’ve owned the machine for about 5 years without issues, but please remember that the machine is over 15 years old (I’m not sure of its year of manufacture), so please don’t expect perfection!

The only slight issue is that very occasionally (maybe 1 in 20 times) it’s necessary to turn the starter key off and on a couple of times before the solenoid engages the starter. It has always done this but has never been a problem.

It cuts ok, but I’ve never replaced the cutting blades so it would probably benefit from a new set sometime.
