Hello fellow hotrodders are you tired of spending a lot of money and not going fast? Are you wanting to add parts that will work right and allow you to grow? And are you ready to make more power and save money? Then make sure you read the following information and visit our Facebook page at Bigdogs Porting and check out some videos from Bigdogs Porting on YouTube because knowledge is power and many of your questions are answered in this description! Here is a great deal From Bigdogs Porting (Check out our YouTube videos "Bigdogs Porting GT40 manifold porting) on the ultimate street/strip manifold for the 86'-95'EFI Ford 5.0 V8. This manifold has a fully Ported and reshaped lower (not just basic gasket matching or sanded smooth like what you get with most others porters that are claiming their manifolds are ported) and a partial ported upper that gives you the best of both worlds (a video showing the level of porting is on our Facebook page). The upper has been partially ported to enlarge runner exits, eliminate the restrictions in the runners, throttle body opening is increased to 75mm and curves blended. The lower has been fully race ported and reshaped. The lower and upper has an average flow over 270-280 CFM and the ports are straight enough you can pass a 7/8" long socket thru all of the runners (can't do that with most aftermarket or stock Ford EFI manifolds)!!! With it's upper bolted on top , together it's average flow is over 270 CFM which is more than most aftermarket manifolds on the market. Look at the difference between the Edelbrock manifold and my Race ported manifold in the pictures on the Facebook page provided. The Edelbrock cannot compare! The Edelbrocks runners are much smaller and flow less. After our port work our Race ported GT40 manifolds are 3lbs lighter! These manifolds have a lot of work in them and are nothing like what you would get with a mild port job. Some will question the port work on these manifolds but just look at the feedback, flow gains and pictures when compared to respected aftermarket manifolds. I can also provide more detailed pictures and flow comparisons if needed, just visit our facebook page at Bigdogs Porting or check out some of our manifold videos on YouTube “GT40 manifold porting by Bigdogs Porting”.  These manifolds are ported by a pro in a shop (Bigdogs Porting) with all the proper testing equipment not at someones home with an air grinder. These manifolds have the Mods to Flow a lot of air to allow for more power and backed up by before and after flowbench testing numbers which can be seen on our Facebook page at Bigdogs Porting.

This manifold flows over 50% more than a stock GT40 and will support more than 550 FWHP with supporting parts based off the cfm it flows. Most heads for the SBF don't flow 270 CFM at the max lift of the cam so this piece will work very well with just about any combo and allow you room to grow.

With this manifold you won't lose any of the low/midrange torque and power that you loose with the aftermarket ones but will make more average HP than the top 5 manifolds in it's class (I have flowed many aftermarket manifolds on the same flow bench to comfirm this). This manifold is great for the grudge cars or the sleeper cars because you can make better than aftermarket power but have a stock look. A motor doesn't care what brand name is on the manifold it only cares about air flow, CSA and runner length and if you get those right then you make more average HP And that means a much faster car!!!

Ported to accept up to a 75mm TB but will work with any size smaller and with a minimum runner CSA of 2.35” (the System Max II has a 2.47 CSA but only flows in the mid 240s-250CFM, the Edelbrock RPM has a 1.94 CSA and flows in the 225CFM range and the 5.0 RPM II has a 2.2 CSA but only has a 70mm Throttle body opening and still flow much less than my Race Ported GT40s). SBF TrickFlow 170 heads have a CSA of 2.01" and flow 235CFM at .500" lift out the box so the MYTH of the GT40 manifold being too small is WRONG with my Race Ported GT40 manifolds. Many people are lead to believe that all you have to do is port the lowers on these manifolds, that is not true! For years you have been lied too because the porters who say that simply don't know how or don't want to put the work and time into porting these manifolds right and that's why so many people fall short of their expectations and can't even make over 300 rwhp. People are paying money to have their lowers just gasket matched and cleaned up and not truly ported!!! My Race ported uppers gain well over 35cfm on the flow bench and more CSA for more RPM over a stock upper (we have before and after flow numbers to confirm this on our Facebook page). Also we port the throttle body tunnel to increase it’s size and flow as well. Plain and simple, you don't port the upper you miss out on HP! When they compare a STOCK GT40 manifold against the aftermarket manifolds it's always down 25-30 HP on the top end but up 30-35 ft lbs of torque on the low to midrange. Well our Ported manifolds better them on the top end and better them on the low-midrange also for a lot less than what they are going for. With an extremely broad power range from idle - 6,700 RPM with the proper supporting parts. The manifolds are first power washed, sandblasted then painted with high-temp ceramic paint in silver color (if you want black or a combo color like in the pictures just add when ordering). This manifold is hard to beat and is drilled and tapped for the ACT (air sensor). Does not come with a cover plate and may or may not have a few small nicks on the outside of the manifold due to normal usage (This does not in any way affect the performance of the manifold).

A great choice for a street/strip 302, 306, 331 and 347 size engines.

Don't be fooled buy other so called ported GT40 manifolds that are just cleaned up, simple gasket matched, sand smoothed and have NO flow Tested Flow data or track times to support their claims (there are some basic cleaned up manifolds out there claiming to be Race Ported so be aware). Not all manifolds are ported the same so don't fall for the hack jobs! Before you buy a ported GT40 manifold ask yourself did it come from a pro shop with over 30 years of porting and custom engine building experience? Do they have dyno, track times and flowbench numbers with pictures to back up their claims? Do they have a ALL MOTOR 10 second 302 Street car running their ported parts? Do they have Local, out of state machine shops and speed shops sending them their parts to get ported? Do they port heads and TBs for Ford, Chevy, Dodge, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Jaguar AMC or Lexus motors? And will they back their parts by putting them up against ours. Your Hotrod deserves the best your hard earned money can buy. Our Race Ported manifolds have more than 25 hours of professional porting and flow testing done to them so it is proven  with solid data and track times (I have sold and ported Thousands of manifolds, TBs and heads, all with great results). It will make more average power from idle to 6,700 RPM than most manifolds in it's class. Why buy a stock unported GT40 manifold that only flows 180-190 CFM when you can have a one that flows well over 280cfm with our Race Ported GT40???   Combos running our Race ported manifolds and stage 2 ported GT40/GT40P heads are running High to Low 11s with bolt ons. Combos running my Stage 3 heads are running faster than that. I run my own ported parts on my cars and have one of my Race Ported GT40s and Stage 3 ported GT40 heads on my full weight (race weight 3150lbs) 91' GT with heat, AC, power everything, AOD with 3500 stall and full interior that runs high 10s now on pump gas with no power adders!! This is a real street car.

If you were to take a stock GT40 manifold and have it ported and flowed to my specs by another Pro porter you would pay over $750 plus the price of the manifold! Don’t believe me just ask them the cost to port a Explorer style manifold to flow over 280cfm with the upper and lower. Why pay $550.00-$900.00 for an aftermarket manifold that flows less and makes less average HP?  You can have a custom ported and proven manifold that out performs aftermarket manifolds that cost more. Many people that run a stock GT40 can't even dyno 300rwhp and soon find themselves upgrading or falling short of their goals because they want more power so why settle. Get the good one the first time and be done with it. I can get these manifolds to out perform any aftermarket manifold in it's class with no loss of low end or top end power.  Don't miss out on this one by waiting. You don't want to get caught at the lights WITHOUT a Race Ported GT40!!!!!

Some of our customers results:

"I can thoroughly say, after 2 decades of driving 5.0 Mustangs I've NEVER experienced a stock Heads/Cam 5.0 pull above 4500rpm like this car thanks to Bigdogs Ported Stage 2 GT40 manifold and Ported 65mm Throttle body. I let it have some higher RPMs last night and it pulls unlike any stock heads/cam all motor induction setup I've ever had, I can't imagine what their ported heads and a decent cam would be like. I'll never build another 5.0 WITHOUT Tony's at Bigdogs Porting ported GT40 manifold setup" Matt R. New York (Matt has a E30 BMW that has a 5.0 engine swap and he bought Our Stage 2 Race ported GT40 manifold and our ported and modified 65mm TB. We also painted his manifold a custom color of gold upper and black lower. His flow numbers were over 300cfm on both upper and lower and his ported 65mm TB flowed over 840cfm. Pictures of his car can be seen on our Facebook page at Bigdogs Porting)

"All I can say is DAMN! This manifold is the best ported GT40 style manifold that I have ever seen. For people to think they can port to these manifolds to this level are crazy! You guys removed a LOT of material and made a lot of modifications to this thing. I compared a stock one to yours and it's was like night and day! My car made 366hp @ 6400rpm and 348lbs of torque @ 4950rpm with your manifold! Thank you for the outstanding work you did with my manifold, your X-pipe and porting my Throttle body" Tom H. LA, California (He has a LX with a 302 bored .030" over, LT 1.75" headers, 3" exhaust Running our 3" X-pipe, Magnaflow mufflers, AFR 165 heads that was just smoothed with a 80 grit sand rolls, 10:1 CR, Anderson cam, 1.7RR, UD pulley, Electric Fan, 4.10 gear, 75mm TB that we ported, 80mm MAF, 30lb injectors, Anderson 3.5" power pipe and a mail order tune. It is street driven and still has Power Steering and AC!)

“You have really schooled me on how easy it is to make power and not spending a lot of money doing so. After seeing the results you got with my car and your manifold I’m now a true believer. You have opened up my eyes to all the scams out there and how people are leaving a lot of power on the table by listening to people who first goal is to take their money. I’m very happy and shocked with the results you got with my car” Bruce B. Florida. (He has a Mustang that came to us on a trailer from Florida not running after another well known shop hacked the car up. With our manifold and services we went through the car and now she is laying down some serious power (over 350whp/350wtrq) Check her out on our Facebook page)

"Your Intake has made a nice improvement. I had a stock Explorer intake on it before and with it I lost bottom end but gained some on top with no tune. With your Race ported GT40 manifold I got back my bottom end and it pulls even harder on the top end. It will now smoke the tires and it's still not tuned yet, Thanks" Klaus S. Concord, GA (He has a 1995 Mustang GT convertible with an auto trans, stock bottom end 302, Aluminum heads with 2.02/1.60 valves,190cc runners, 64cc chambers, Comp Cams .512" lift, 70mm BBK TB, Pro-M MAF with 24lb injectors and 3.73 gears. Once his combo is set he should be at 350+rwhp)

"Got to the track yesterday and you were right! First pass I blew the tires off and got a 1.98 60' but on the fourth pass I hit the sweet spot with a 1.55 60' and a 11.48 at 117.5 mph. I went from low 13s to mid 11's with a set of your ported heads, Ported 65mm TB and ported manifold. Can't believe how fast my car is with what many would consider mild parts" Tim D. San Antonio, Texas (He ordered our Stage 2 Heads, Intake manifold and Ported 65mm TB kit. He also had a B cam with 1.7 rocker arms, 3.73 gear with a 5 speed)

"I considered porting a GT40 myself BUT when I saw your ad and I looked at the unported GT40 intake I have now. I took measurements and contemplated the socket going threw all the runners. I said NO WAY I was going to waste my time for inevitable failure. Thanks for the great product" John D. Minneapolis, MN (He got his Race ported manifold and compared it to a stock GT40. The amount of porting we do can only be truly understood by see it in real life)

"Hey man with your manifold and the port work you did on my TFS 170 heads I ran a 10.58 @ 126mph on a very soft tune with only 18 degrees total timing! She has a lot more in her once we dial the tuning in" Charles P. Baltimore, Maryland (He has a stock bottom end 302 with our Race Ported GT40 manifold, our Stage 2 portwork on his TFS heads, a small turbo kit, a TFS Stage 1 Cam and exhaust. His combo is very streetable and mild mannered. Notice the very soft tune of only 18 degrees timing. With a better tune this car would be a 9 second car)

"Your port work is high quality and I showed your Race Ported manifold to my friend that said his lower that was ported by another porter and was the best you can get. Needless to say after seeing your manifold he will be sending both his upper and lower to you". Richard W. Crete, IL. (His friend had a lower that was mildly ported by a well known porter and was told all he needed was to have the lower ported. After seeing our port work he gave us a call)

"I installed your ported GT40 manifold, Ported GT40 Stage 2 heads,  that Anderson cam you suggested and with just the 80mm MAF with 30lbs injectors and bolt-ons I'm faster then my brothers 2015 Mustang GT with full exhaust, tune, CAI and gears. Your port work is very detailed  for what you charge"   Jason P. From Chicago, IL. (He has a 1991 GT with headers, exhaust, CAI, 3.73 gears, rear Upper/lower CA, 1.6 RR and stock bottom 302)

"After seeing the gains from your manifold on my buddy's car I was convinced to go with your ported Heads/Intake combo. With your Stage 2 Ported GT40 heads and your Race Ported GT40 manifold I'm gapping new bolt on 5.0s! I must say it feels good to beat them and when I open the hood they see nothing but factory parts" Bruce From Jacksonville, Florida. (He has a 1990 LX with a mild cam, My Stage 2 Ported heads with stock valves, My Race ported GT40 manifold, 70mm TB, 75mm MAF and the normal bolt-on)

"So now that I've seen for myself what your ported manifold can do I am a true believer. Not only does my car pulls like crazy all the way to my 6,500rpm redline but it even sounds different, meaner. You really take pride in your porting and now my buddys fear my lil fox body"  Bill J. from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

"Your manifold put out the goods. For the price this is a steal. The runners are really big and You were right, I can fit a 7/8 long socket through all of them even runners #1 and #5!! I'm very impressed"  Craig J. From Oak Lawn, Illinois.

"All I could say when I took my car to our local dyno was wow! I had no idea a ported GT40 manifold could perform that well. The torque was higher and I gained 31hp and 800rpm more over my old manifold. You did way more work for the price you charged. Thank you and I will be back for more port work in the future" Robert C. from Chicago, Illinois. (He has a 331 with TrickFlow heads, Stage 2 cam, 75mm TB and full bolt ons. His old manifold was a stock cleaned up GT40 manifold)

"Went out to the Track 3 days after I put your manifold on and on the first pass I beat my previous best time buy 3 tenths of a second. By the sixth pass I was 4 tenths of a second faster than my best before the manifold change. I knew by the looks of the ports that your manifold was going to flow a lot more air than my stock GT40 manifold" Trevor from Englewood, California. (He had a Stock GT40 manifold on his combo and the only changes was adding my Race Ported GT40 manifold. He sold his old GT40 to get back some of his money spent for the Race ported)

"Tony my 90' LX put down 352rwhp at 6400 rpm with your Race Ported manifold and my TFS heads that you ported. I beat my brothers combo by 14hp but saved over $1,000 more" Doug from Levonia, Michigan. (His brother uses AFR 165 heads, Performer intake and E-cam with 1.7 roller rockers)

"Hey buddy, with your Ported GT40 manifold, that stage 1 Trick Flow cam and cleaned up GT40P heads my 1992 Mustang GT went 11.78@115.8 mph. Didn't think I would gain that much over my other manifold but the timeslips don't lie" Chris from Goose Creek, South Carolina. (He ran a 12.08 with a Professional Products manifold before he installed my Race Ported GT40 manifold)

"Tony I got my Pony's new numbers. With your all out fully Ported GT40 manifold she put down 389rwhp and 380wtq but was running out of fuel after 5700RPM. She made more hp and tq than my Eddy and now I need bigger injectors because we think she has more in her" Mike from Jacksonville, Florida. (He has a 10:1 347 with AFR 185 heads, Anderson cam, and other bolt ons. I cut, shortened the runners, welded and fully ported the upper and lower of a GT40 manifold for him that replaced his out the box Performer RPM that he sold. With the right injectors his combo should pull to 6400+rpm and make 10 to 15 more hp)

"Wow! It looks like you ported this manifold out with a Jack Hammer! The ports on the manifold match up great with my AFR 185s and oh boy this little 302 just keeps pulling way past 6200rpm now. You did a great job on this manifold and you're going to be the only guy that ports any of my stuff for now on" Bob from Elmwood Park, New Jersey. (He has a 1988 Mustang GT with a stock bottom end, AFR185 heads, F-Cam, and other bolt ons. Old manifold was a stock GT40 with no port work)

Send me your Ford, Chevy or Mopar manifolds and heads that you already own and we can port them from mild to wild. I  get stock valve GT40s and GT40P heads to flow 233/174cfm at .600".
