This unit is Intended to get you started with Libreboot at an affordable price point. You will be able to use your machine right away and slowly upgrade as you go. You can add more RAM a new SSD, Battery and WIFI, Etc. You can connect to the internet via Ethernet for now until you upgrade.The hard part has been done for you which requires disassembling the T400 to the last screw, Flash the Bios chip on the motherboard, Then reassemble the entire machine again.

•     This is the newest version of Libreboot 20240504, released on May 4th  2024 w/ a ton of updates.
•     Intel ME has been completely wiped from BIOS with Libreboot
•     The laptop has brand new Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste (Overclocking thermal paste to stay extra cool)
•     EC was updated before flashing to libreboot
