This will not only protect your valuable lens glass from bumps and scratches, it will protect its coating from being scratched from CLEANING the glass.
This filter is clear, coated glass. It does not have any affect on the light. It is NOT a UV, IR, 1A, or any other type of light-adjusting filter.
There is a very tiny chip on the edge. I've done my best to magnify it. Due to it tiny size, and location, it will have no impact on any images.
Unlike some other filters, this filter has rear AND FRONT filter threads.
Both threads are in like-new condition.
