NORTH PACIFIC COAST NPCRR BRASS RAILROAD BAGGAGE TAG KLINKNER SAN FRAN MFR. RARE - NARROW GAUGE ROAD. Very rare, brass railroad baggage tag marked nicely, "NPCRR" over "1478" for the North Pacific Coast Railroad out of Northern California. The tag is in good, uncleaned and untouched condition and hallmarked very prominently on the backside for maker, "Moise-Klinkner San Francisco". Hardware is very tough to find from this road. The NPCRR was a narrow gauge road that began in 1874, operating in Marin and Sonoma counties, carrying redwood lumber, agricultural products, express and passengers. They had approximately 90 miles of track from Sausalito to Duncans Mills and Cazadero. Eventually the road went into the North Western Pacific. Great opportunity for a c1880's baggage tag from an elusive narrow gauge California railroad.
