This is Advertising the NORTHAMPTON BREWERY Co Ltd . It is a RARE piece and holds 4 Gallons .

It stands 21 inches tall and measures 12 inches across its diameter .

The writing states they were Wine & Spirit Merchants , and there are the words Trade Mark and a star . It is also embossed 4 GAL and has the number 1717 , we don’t know what that represents .

There is an impressed mark on the neck , this reads , “ 8 Key Tamworth “.

The body and base of the piece does have some cracks but it is intact .

It is a Rare example and a fabulous piece for anyone interested in Breweriana or Beer / Brewery Advertising , especially for people with a connection to Northamptonshire . It is Perfect for a home Bar , Northampton Pub or Mancave .
