Offered here is an Antique CROWN DERBY Plate dating to c1810 .

This features a named view of a Villa Landscape on a hill with mountain scene in the background . There are waterfalls below the building. The scene reads Villa of Necinas ( I cannot confirm if Necinas is the name of the villa or if it is something similar ) .

It is a fabulous Landscape Scene.

This is a named view and is in very good condition .This was probably painted by Daniel Lucas Senior .

It is a superb early piece of Royal Crown Derby . There are no chips , cracks or restoration .

The back has the Nottingham Road Derby Handpainted mark which dates the piece to between 1806 and 1825 .

The title of the scene is also Handpainted on the reverse.

There is a gilded or gilt gold border which incorporates animals including dolphins or something similar and Goats with horns , they may be Mountain Goats. There are other animals and decoration .
There is some wear to the gilded band around the edge and some general wear, but it is generally in good condition for a piece that is over 200 years old .

We are offering another landscape place from Crown Derby in a separate listing , they are both the same size and clearly made at the same time and probably painted by the same artist . These are listed to finish within 10 minutes of each other .

This measures 8.75 inches .

Good Luck.
