This is an early Staffordshire figure which stands just under 9 inches tall.

It dates to the middle years of the nineteenth century , perhaps a little earlier.

The figure features John Milton who lived from 1608 to 1674 .

It is a RARE colour and design combination .

It is in reasonably good condition. There is a firing crack in the base and some surplus clay . The finger ends on his left hand are missing . It is otherwise in nice condition . This is a Rare model with regards colours and design combination.
