·   Approximately 5 7/8” x 8 ¼” folded. Unfolds to a double-sided sheet 23 ¼" x 16 ½".

·   Issued by Inside Venice. Artwork by Giacomo Torsani & Romanelli Family.

·   According to a statement on the map, it's printed on Shiro Alga Carta Favini. "This paper began life as a way to use the damaging algal blooms of the Venice lagoon. Today this concept has been extended to other fragile marine areas."

·   The map has a raised feel to it.

·   On one side of the document is a map that indicates locations of retail, food, fountains, main boat stops, walks, sunset, sunrise, views, Romanelli hotels, gondola traghetto, "must places" (monuments & special places), and wellness & activities.

·   It's primarily in Italian with a few exceptions, which are in English.

·   The reverse side of the document has a numbered list keyed to the numbers on the map. It also has tips for going plastic free, including the use of glass bottles at the Romanelli hotels, fountains, refill areas around Venice, and so forth.

·   The document is in excellent shape, with just a small brown spot of discoloration on the back and one slightly rough bottom edge.
