LEITZ WETZLAR MIKAS MICROSCOPE CAMERA ATTACHMENT - Leitz Periplan 18x Ocular

A Leitz Wetzlar microscope camera attachment for use in microscopic photography.  Comprising a tube (1/3x Bellows) which attaches to the camera without its lens; Gauthier shutter - speeds T, B & 1 - 125; perpendicular eyepiece with focussing wheel and Leitz Periplan 18x Ocular.  There are two cable release sockets, one to fire the shutter, another behind the shutter which pushes aside a prism inside the housing to allow light through the ocular to the film.
Approx. Dimensions:  tube bellows: 65mm, diameter of screw thread to camera 39mm; overall length 120mm; length of eyepiece 64mm.  Cable release NOT included.

A second spare eyepiece and prism block is included as it came with the above.

Condition / Defects:

In very good used condition; the shutter fires on all settings (cable release required - speeds not tested).  The focussing works very well.  There are a number of lenses inside which are a little dusty.  The prism movement needs servicing as it works slowly.
