BECK, London - FILAR MICROMETER EYEPIECE for MICROSCOPE: 10x Magnification

A Filar micrometer eyepiece attachment made by Beck, London.  Inside it has a reticle which is VERY FAINT (almost invisible) and can only be seen across the lower half.  The eyepiece is marked 10x, which I presume is magnification.  The micrometer knob on the side has increments around it measuring 0 - 100.  Each 100th of the turn of the knob relates to the distances between each marking on the reticle.  A vertical index line moves across the reticle scale in accordance with the turn of the knob.  The eyepiece has focussing.  I presume that the scale is metric measured in millimetres.  It has its original blue velvet lined case.

Condition / Defects:

In very good condition; the micrometer knob turns smoothly.  There are some dusty spots inside, so it would benefit from a professional clean. Scratched in mark around the lens: "P/P 39.11".
