Fresh from a Dallas Estate comes this railroad stripe cap/hat that is union made by Lee Denim in the 1940s. This tag on the front of hat reads, "Union Made Lee Sanforized Reg US Pat Off Fabric Shrinkage Not Over 1%." The hat is made of blue and white striped denim and has a fitted band with more head room inside and a soft bill. The hat measures 8" front to back with a 21" circumference (size 7). The depth inside is 3 1/2." The bill is 7 1/4" wide by 2.25" deep. The hat is in EXCELLENT vintage CONDITION with NO tears or odors. There are a couple of tiny holes on left side, some stitching coming undone on band, and light scattered stains. It has not been cleaned!
