The Open Garden – Australian Gardens and their
Gardeners
By Louise Earwaker & Neil
Robertson
“The Open Garden”
is Australia’s Open Garden Scheme’s tribute to the skill and ingenuity of the
Gardeners of Australia.
In ‘The Open
Garden’ forty-five passionate gardeners from across Australia, provide readers
with an invaluable insight into how each garden began, how it is today and the
gardener’s vision for the future. Each of these gardens, from inner-city
courtyards to rural pastoral property handed down through generations, to a
garden designed to peak in less than two years.
The full colour
photography, taken over the course of a year by some of Australia’s best
landscape and garden photographers, captures the extraordinary beauty of the
gardens in their Australian settings.
