Old Paris Castle Villa Gold Cornucopia & Matte Blue Bird Handle Tea Cup & Saucer
Very nice antique Old Paris / Vieux Paris footed porcelain tea cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a hand painted castle / villa landscape scene framed in gold over a matte blue background with gold cornucopia decoration over the blue. The cup has a figural bird inside the ring handle. Gold interior to the cup. Matte blue saucer with gold cornucopia pattern. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked. Circa 1810-1820.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
