Hand Painted Brushstroke Purple Flowers & Purple & Green Bands Plate C 1830 - 50

Nice pearlware luncheon plate. Decorated with hand painted brushstroke purple / puce flowers. With a band of green and two smaller bands of purple / puce along the border. Unmarked. Circa 1830 to 1850.

Has some usage wear consistent with age to the center, a small flake to the edge, and some glazed over inner manufacture small flaking to the edge. Also has an in manufacture defect where an extra piece of clay adhered to the surface along the inner rim. Otherwise good condition with no cracks or additional chips or flakes.

Measures approximately 8 1/4 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
