We have found no other Bicentennial maps of Saginaw, MI., so please do not wait to have this one hanging in your store in Mid Michigan!  Poster is a Centennial cartoon drawing of Saginaw, Michigan. The back of the map is white with yellowed spots near the sides, must be from the cardboard tube, no spots in middle of back.  Map is used with lots of creases, but doesn't look like it was ever displayed, we think only handled, no tape or thumb tack marks.  One tear on top and to the right of "Saginaw", another very tiny tear right top corner and could be a few more very tiny ones.  Edges are mostly crinkled all the way around the poster.  So many great old businesses shown, we are blocking out most of the map so the eBay community will not copy and resell your map, we could find no others for sale. What a great time staring at this and remembering all the stores now long gone. Quite large measuring 39 1/2” x 29” Have an antique shop in town?? What a great display, we’re sure it will bring people back to look at this beauty and hopefully do some shopping while they’re there! We are shipping in the original tube from long ago, we’re going to cover up the old addresses to & from, but will they will still be under the new labels in case you wish to uncover them. Looks like it came from Descartes Maps, Niagara Falls, New York and was sold to a member of the Miller Family in Republic, Michigan. Email if you wish us to see if one of your old favorite businesses is on the map?? Seitner’s is shown, an I.T.I van is buzzing down a road, cartoon people and old vehicles, cars , trucks, airplane at the Tri City Airport, all around the map, small Timbertown Parade with clown, loggers, Garber Buick Opel dealer, Royal Palm, Gateway Trucks, WKCQ, Jameson Corp., Bliss Park, Buggia’s, Boy’s Home, Saginaw Psychiatric Hospital, a Salmon fisherman, Midland Nuclear Plant, Ethan Allen, Bauer’s Jewelry, Topham Printing, The Fortress, cars, log fortress Fort Saginaw 1822, Ojibway Island with a concert going on, City Hall, John ‘O’ Schmidt Realty, Red Vest, Wickes Park with people picnicking and playing ball, Municipal Marina with boats, Frutchey Bean, Shively Bros, animals, bear, deer, duck, the Chesaning Showboat going down the river, Davis Music House, Ippel’s, many churches, houses, Old Town Saginaw, SBS, Ezra Rust Park, Soap Box Derby Park and a couple of derby racers coming down the hill, Saginaw Valley College, many Morley's Reid Paper, Delta College, Heavenrich's Fashion Square Mall, this is just some of the great graphics on the map, much, much more!  If needed we could post a couple shots of the inside of the map, any business you would like to see?, email us.  We can deliver for free to Saginaw, MI.
