Description: An English Antique George VI solid sterling silver large one pint tankard, having a plain round shaped body with a central band of rounded reeding decoration, to a reeded and round step raised circular shaped base with the tankard fitted with a scroll shaped handle with a protruding thumb grip. The tankard comes with a lovely plain body with no engraved presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms or family crest marks. It has an excellent thickness of solid sterling silver and weighs an impressive 517 grams. Would make an excellent fine addition to anyones collection or is ready to be used for its purpose it was made for. A superb clean example.

Measurements: Height 12 cm, Diameter across top rim 8.3 cm and base 9.7 cm

Condition report: Excellent clean condition with no dents, dings, holes, splits or repairs. It's in fabulous clean condition for its age. The interior of the tankard is excellent condition with no nasty marks or stains from use. The top and bottom rims are not out of shape and stands perfectly well with no wobble. The handle is not pushed in or any splits to the interior from a pushed in handle. The scroll shaped fitted handle has no damage or repairs. Holds liquids perfectly well with no leaks or any holes. The English solid sterling silver hallmarks to the body are in superb crisp condition with no wear issues and are all very clear. The tankard is not engraved with any presentation inscriptions, monograms, initials or family crest marks. A superb clean example.
