RARE Edelberg Tachys EB-1014 CUSTOMIZED Rollerball pen
The
company Edelberg was a small father and son company in Switzerland,
which dissolved by now.
They produced this and the fountain pen version
in a small series and is definately rare to come by pen!
Though
this pen had to be customized due to the cap band, which you can see on
photo / svreenshot on photo 9 went missing and since the company
discontinued no replacement band could have been ordered / installed.
The by now installed cap band is made out of Gallalith, which fits nicely to the Edelberg emblem that you see on top of cap!

"The
Edelberg Tachys are named after the Greek word for speed. Made of resin
and decorated in a very sophisticated way, this writing instrument has a
unique clip that strongly invokes the resemblance of a speedometer
needle. This beautiful pen is then further accented with a simple yet
modern, bold colored line which is engraved by a CNC machine and filled
with a luscious black lacquer.
The final touch is the Edelberg
emblem at the top of each creation, which is fashioned of Super
Luminova. This material collects light during daily use and allows for
easy locating during the dark hours of the night."
