This is an incredible looking vintage quality J.W Benson from the 50s with the desirable Edmund Hilary "Everest" style dial .The dial has aged perfectly ,unlike 95% of these and it is simply beautiful. The hands are original and still retain all there lume as do the numbers ..The case is excellent as well as most of these have lost 85% of their plate, this is a rare exception to the rule ..The Dennison case is all marked and it also retains the original dust cover over its 16 jewel gilted movement ,These cases were used on the Smiths watches of the period like the Edmund Hilary Everest. The watch is 33mm across or 36 mm with crown x 41mm across its lugs.. Running very well lovely military hands & it comes on a quality suede 18mm band that really suits the dial as pictured ,it will be posted special delivery insured ..looks really fantastic on
