This is signed on the front with the artists signature in the bottom right hand corner . This is numbered 190 of a Limited Edition of 850.
The picture depicts 76084 an Ivatt Class 4 on a Westbound train departing from Kirkby Stephen East Station in the late 1950s This combination of locos was typical on this former NER line between Darlington and Tebay . The train had just come over the Pennines .

The wooden frame has a lined finish , the entire piece measures 29 x 22.75 inches .
