The Elephants Tusks Eyes & Toenails are all white in contrast with the Teak coloured Wood . They are both in good condition with no chips or cracks , one toenail is missing. The compartments are made , and revealed from two pieces of sliding wood in each of the bookends . When the Elephants are lifted off the surface the sliding pieces come away and reveal the compartments and contents .

Rack Bookend measures 8 inches long , 6.25 inches high and 4 inches wide .

They each have the remnants of original felt on their base.

These are an unusual and quirky example from the Mid Century c1960 or c1970 .
