The jacket is vintage so the filling has flattened a bit. Also, one of the inner drawstrings was missing when I found it. If you live in a very cold climate you'll need to layer. I wore it regularly and have spot cleaned it. However, the wool seems to attract my dogs fur. I have lint rolled it a bunch and removed as much as I could, but if you prefer items from a pet free home, this isn't the item for you. I have washed it previously so it tolerates washing.

Considering the information above, this is still the cutest winter jacket with a lot of life left in it! I am 5'8 and wear a medium/large and it fit well over thicker winter clothing. The shoulder to hem is approximately 38.5 inches and under arm to under arm is approximately 23. It hit above my knees.
