19th Century German Enameled Armorial Glass Jungfraenbecher Wedding Cup
Nice 19th century German hand blown clear glass "Jungfraenbecher" wedding cup.Decorated with a hand painted Armorial crest in red, ocher, white, and blue on the glass below "Allesgluck Dembrautpaare" in white enamel. With white enamel beads and gold gilding along the bottom. Has a mounted silverplate Elizabethan style half lady on the top. Unsigned.
Has some wear and tarnish to the metal, some wear to the gilding, and is missing the smaller cup that would sit at the top, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide x 10 3/4 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
