British Hand Enameled Faith Hope & Charity Bone China Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1820
Nice antique British London form / London shape bone china tea cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a purple transfer scene depicting Faith on one side and Hope on the other. The saucer has a transfer scene depicting Charity. The saucer has the pattern number 59 on the base. Circa 1820.
Has some wear consistent with age and use. The cup has a discolored tight crack through the base. Otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
