British Hand Painted Black Rose Maroon & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer C.1815-1825 B

Nice British soft paste porcelain London form / London shape tea cup and saucer.  Decorated with hand painted black roses and leaves. With gold gilding along the rim above a maroon band. Has a maroon band around the foot rim. With gold and maroon lines to the handle of the cup. Unmarked. Unidentified. Circa 1815 to 1825. I have a pair of plates in the same pattern listed separately.

Has some wear to the gilding and usage wear consistent with age. Also has fine crazing typical of British porcelain and overall staining to the cup, but no chips or cracks.

The cup measures approximately 4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
