Nice bone china dinner plate. Decorated with slightly raised gold game birds in the center over a platinum background framed in gold encrusted laurel leaves. Around this is a cobalt band with raised turquoise and gold game birds and hares, and a band of gold encrusted medallions. Has a cobalt blue border with scenes of slightly raised gold game birds and hares on platinum backgrounds framed in gold rectangles, with platinum and gold circles and gold leaves in between. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with an English registry mark for December 10 1881. The entry for this registry date is for Brown Westhead Moore. Also marked with the pattern number H 1956 in red.

Measures approximately 10 3/8 inches wide.
