Adams & Sons Grecian Font #2 Pattern Red Transferware 9 1/2 Inch Plate Circa 1830-40s B

Nice pearlware plate in the Grecian Font pattern in red transfer by William Adams and Sons. Marked on the reverse Grecian Font WA & S. This mark was used by William Adams and Sons between 1819 and 1864, but was likely made between the 1830s and 1840s.

Has some crazing near the edge typical of earthenware and a chip to the front edge, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
