The Cordierite Pizza Baking Stone (12" square, included) stores the heat of the grill, reaches high temperatures and effectively passes it on to the pizza. The closed housing catches and reflects the heat radiated from below and thus cooks the top of the pizza without burning or drying it out. That makes a crispy dough.
A thermometer on the top provides at a glance the temperature in the interior of the attachment, so you can always regulate the optimal cooking temperature for your pizza.
