Description: A fabulous English Antique early Victorian solid sterling silver christening mug in the Gothic manner of a baluster form to a footed base with a moulded rim with the body beautifully decorated with strap work decoration, is fitted with a Gothic inspired shaped handle and stands on a raised circular shaped base. Comes with no hand engraved presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms or family crest marks. It has an excellent thickness of solid sterling silver and weighs 140 grams of solid sterling silver. Would make an excellent fine addition to anyones collection or is ready to be used for its purpose it was made for. A stunning example which is beautifully decorated in the Gothic manner. A fine example.

Measurements: Height 10 cm, diameter across top rim 7.9 cm and base 6.1 cm (Including the handle)
Condition report: The exterior of the christening mug is in excellent clean condition with no dents, dings, splits, holes or repairs. The interior of the mug is in excellent condition with no marks or stains from use. The top and bottom rims are not out of shape and stands perfectly well with no wobble. The handle is in excellent condition with no damage or pushed in handle. Holds up to 200 ml of liquids perfectly well with no leaks or signs of any holes. The English solid silver hallmarks to the body are in excellent very readable condition with only some very slight wear from polishing. A stunning example in such excellent clean condition which is ready to be added to your collection or to be used. A stunning Victorian example.
