This is one of many auctions I have up for bids right now that include paperbacks from the Ballantine Original Adult Fantasy BAF series of books printed in the 1960s and 1970s that have the unicorn colophon at top right, so be sure to check out my other listings for more. Also, I package all books in cardboard for protection, not in those thin white plastic bags or padded envelopes that some sellers use. Ballantine Books catalog number 345 02421 4 125. CONDITION: "Very Good Plus" condition, right on the edge of being Fine. Flaws are a very small color-breaking diagonal hairline crease at top right corner of front cover; some minor cornerwear and edgewear; some "smooth" diagonal ridges at top left corner of back cover (not hard creases); and some impressions (the most significant of which are on the left side of the back cover. The spine is smooth and uncracked. 2) THE WOOD BEYOND THE WORLD by William Morris, First Printing July 1969, 95-cent cover price, cover art by Gervasio Gallardo. Ballantine Books catalog number 345 01652 095. CONDITION: Most sellers would go ahead and call this copy "Fine," but I will call it only "Very Good Plus" for these reasons: There are two red stripes on the top page edges; some chipping/wear at bottom of spine; and some minor impressions on the covers.
