This auction is for the Motorific Alcan Highway Torture Track box set made by Ideal Toy Corp., copyright 1965-- but note that it does not come with the car or any car parts mentioned on the box lid. That means it does not have the one car body, three chassis pins, motor or chassis. It also is missing any instructions or other paperwork that may have come with this set when it was new. However, you will get ALL of the pieces of track mentioned on the box lid, including the three signs. Details: The outer cardboard box is in absolutely TERRIBLE condition. It apparently was literally used as a dartboard by some previous owner, because it is full of holes! -- not to mention one bigger hole torn in the lid. The box is split, taped, stained, and has masking tape and other tape on it. Pretty much a disaster, really. Inside, however, all of the included pieces are fine, showing only some minor scuffs and such from normal use.
