Hang on, there is alot to be said about these jeans.  Tack Fat, a Hong Kong apparel maker, brought a private label to Gap back in the 1980s.  This was because Gap had lost its loyal generation from the 1970s (because, well, they grew up) and sales were tanking, so like The Limited, Esprit and others, private labels became part of the new marketing to recover.  Enter these jeans which were styled to appeal to the affluent in society.  Sportswear design.  There's some good solid denim history out there if you take time to research.  These could be 1980s or 1990s. Still from back in the day when it comes to denim. :)  Note the red stitches to reinforce pockets, this was Gap's answer to the Levi's competition (at least according to one dive into denim history opinion, not sure if fact).

Classic. Iconic. Rare.

Overall condition is great. The only concern noted is the faded horizontal marks across knees, evidence of hanging in the closet for decades.
