See and talk to whoever is at the door, from anywhere on a smartphone or tablet. The ERA Protect Video Doorbell alerts you when someone has pressed the doorbell, or when motion has been detected. You can watch live videos and review stored recordings from the ERA Cloud.

The Video Doorbell is a great addition to an existing ERA Protect security system or can be used as a standalone unit. The ERA Protect smart hub has built-in doorbell chime functionality, so you can hear the doorbell ring within the home, without the use of an additional chime. No complicated set-up or separate apps are required as it uses the same free ERA Protect app as the alarm, cameras etc. The app is easy to use, with intuitive functionality so the doorbell can be tailored to the needs of any home.

With a 140° horizontal field of view, cloud footage records in crystal clear 1080p HD resolution; and with sophisticated motion sensing technology, alerts are instant by push notification to a smartphone, when motion is detected. Real-time live viewing means you can see, hear and speak to the visitor at the door. The infrared night vision (up to 2m) ensures operation day and night and motion zones can be customised to focus on a specific area. Activity logs allow you to review any motion events and clips will be safely stored in the cloud.

The ultra slim design suites any door or location. The doorbell works with the user’s smartphone, connected to the home’s WiFi network. Bank-grade encryption of data ensures privacy. When clips are viewed, uploaded or downloaded, to and from the cloud platform, they are fully protected by utilising 128-bit SSL security encryption. You can save clips for 30 days* by upgrading to ERA Protect Plus or ERA Protect Plus Premium. The upgrade to Plus Premium also gives access to cost-effective professional monitoring.

There are three connection methods for the Video Doorbell (all three connection methods can be used to connect a mechanical chime). You can connect to the mains power (we recommend installation by a professional electrician), connection via a power adapter (DIY install) or connection to existing doorbell wiring (output voltage needs to be 8v – 24v).

The Video Doorbell is weatherproof to IP55 international standards. It is perfect for monitoring when someone comes to a door, as well as monitoring outside a front door, front garden, and driveway. The doorbell power source has protected wiring so that it is safe from weather or tampering. Even if the doorbell is vandalised or stolen, video clips are stored in the ERA Cloud. The doorbell can operate between -10° and +45°C.
