August 27, 1941 1st Day Ship Postal Cancel Cover for USS Paducah. The Paducah was a US Navy gunboat that served through World War One and also World War Two, at which time it trained Navy Gunners in the Chesapeake Bay. I believe this 1941 cover would have been made during that time. Please see photos.
