18th Century 1700s Revolutionary War Era knife

Knife is in good original condition with signs of corrosion and pitting on the forged iron blade. Measuring approximately 8 1/2”inches long when open with a 4 1/2” inch single edged iron blade.

Horn grip is in original condition with early forged iron pins. Knife has a unique double sided brass foot. Blade is still tight and secure. See pics for details.

Likely east coast blacksmith made late 1700s too Early 19th century.

came from a well known auction house in Avoca Wisconsin.
