From an Estate of a collector of Victorian and Mid Century Modern
is an Victorian C. late 1800's toleware coal scuttle bin/Purdonium on wheels with scoop.
(photo #4 you can see the scoop in back pocket.)
Ornate brass metal handle and feet.
The wheels feel like metal than ceramic.
The inner liner is missing and yet still useful storage along side a fireplace.
Side view appears to be in the shape of a snail shell.
It measures 18" x 18" x 13".
