Turnpike Stadium, located in Arlington, Texas, holds a significant place in the city's sports history. Originally opened in 1965 as a minor league baseball stadium, it later became known as Arlington Stadium and served as the home of Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers from 1972 to 1993.
