Bohemian Amethyst Cut Glass & Raised Gold Floral Ribbon Cup & Saucer C1840-1860s
Nice antique mid 19th century Bohemian amethyst cut glass cup and saucer. With raised gold flowers and ribbon with small gold beads above cut diamonds on the cup. Has cut diamonds around the saucer with the same floral and ribbon pattern around the center / well. Applied glass handle with gilding. Gold gilding along the rim. Star cut base to both the cup and saucer. There is a small gold H on the bottom of the saucer near the foot rim. Probably circa 1840 to 1860s.
Has some wear to the gilding and a chip to the edge of the saucer, and a small flake to the edge of the saucer. Otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide.
