Selling a 2009 MacBook Pro, 15 inch version. Laptop is in impressive condition for a 15 year old device, all features are functional and the outer casing is in very respectable condition. A couple of dents and scratches in the lid, see pictures for the worst of them.

This is a dual GPU model with the 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the switchable Nvidia GeForce 9400M and 9600M GT GPUs. RAM has been maxed out to 8GB of DDR3 and the hard drive has been replaced with a 512GB solid-state drive. Even on these older MacBooks an SSD does a world of good - performance is snappy and plenty usable for everyday tasks.

To keep the device somewhat up-to-date, the latest version of macOS 11 Big Sur (which isn’t natively supported on this model) has been installed using OCLP. All of the hard work has already been taken care of, so it’s ready to go out the gate. Some additional software has been included for the first time Mac user wanting to experience a taste of what macOS is all about without spending a lot of money.
