Custom made by Castro's Interiors, Inc. vintage needlepoint covered foot stool with two size stitches of lilies on a beige/cream background. The flowers are yellow, orange, rust, with shades of pinks, greens, and browns. The flowers have the tiny stitches on them. Personalized with initials and maybe part of a date (partially hidden) on the edge.  Interesting ball claw feet on a metal base. The metal has hints/a sheen of copper on it in places, but most of it is duller.  I don't know what kind of metal it is. There are pitted areas on it. Metal polish was not attempted.

I selected wool blend out of the choices offered in this listing as that what it feels like, but I am unsure exactly of the wool used in the needlepoint. This foot stool is clean, with no stains and no odors. The top of the metal band measuring to the bottom of each glass ball is about 4 3/4" to give an idea of the scale.

This foot stool is small, standing about 7 1/2" tall, with a diameter of about 11". It is well-made and the cushion sits snugly with no looseness or wobble.

The pretty needlepoint and the glass balls on the claw feet are its best features in my honest opinion.  Age is unknown, and the area code on the label beneath is from Florida. This foot stool would look wonderful in a shabby chic or Boho decorated room. Personally, I would leave the metal as it is because it looks charming and quaint and adds to its' beauty. It's perfect for a small spot and for someone who loves old beautiful things.

Thank you.
