This auction is for a wonderful vintage 1960s’s midcentury modern Danish teak wood set of four Hans Bolling ducks, one large mother duck, and three of her ducklings as shown in the pictures taken with, and without flash. The auction is for all four pieces and would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s fine Danish mid-century modern collection. The overall condition is nice with just some very minor issues, mainly to the tips of the duck’s beaks. The mother duck has a small chip/nicks to the tip of its beak and a mark on the head as shown in the pictures. Two of the three ducklings also have minor nicks at the end of their beaks. One of the heads does come off of the ducklings. The bottom of the mother duck is marked with a sticker that is shown. The three ducklings are each marked: Hans Bolling Torben Orskov & Co. Denmark which is the same marking on the sticker. The mother duck is large and measures just over 7 1/4” but not quite 7 1/2 inches tall by just over 5 1/2 inches long and just over 4 inches wide. She weighs approximately 14 ounces prior to packaging and boxing. The three ducklings each measure approximately slightly over 3 1/4 inches tall by around 4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. They each weigh approximately 3 to 4 ounces. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description.
