Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Dragon Jar Vase.

Provenance: This jar vase was from the collection of Ellerslie, a 133-year-old mansion (as shown in the photo) formerly owned by Autobarn founder Garry Dumbrell, designed by famous architect John Beswicke (1847-1925) and built in 1891.

The mansion (address: 16 Harcourt St, Hawthorn, Melbourne, VIC 3122, Australia) was sold for around $19.5 million in 2023, setting a new record for the suburb. Link: https://www.realestatesource.com.au/chemist-warehouse-scion-snares-hawthorn-east-mansion/
