Canadian author Mazo de la Roche's book Jalna won the Atlantic Monthly prize for fiction when it appeared in 1927.  It follows a wealthy Canadian family through a time of personal crisis.  The book's popularity at the time is shown by the fact that it went through nine printings in five months.  This is a February 1928 copy from Grosset and Dunlop New York.  The book is in very good condition and the original dust jacket is very well preserved for something almost 100 years old.  Book will be carefully packed and shipped when payment is secured.
