Sevres Style Signed Lebrun Hand Painted Watteau Scene Raised Gold Floral Charger

Nice late 19th or early 20th century porcelain charger. Decorated in the Sevres style with a hand painted courting couple / Watteau scene with a gentlemen and two ladies in front of a Neoclassical ruin and trees. With a border of turquoise and purple luster with raised gold gilt floral scrollwork and hand painted flowers in pink, blue, red, and yellow. Signed by the artist Lebrun. Marked on the reverse with a pseudo / spurious Sevres mark with an A in the center and S... below. France written in red below. Probably decorated in Paris or Limoges.

Has one very small flake to the edge and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.

Measures approximately 13 1/8 inches wide.
